Chifferini with tomato sauce and mushrooms

g of bacon lardons

Thyme 

Preparation

Fry the bacon pieces in a small non-stick frying pan. After a few minutes, add the chopped onion and chopped mushrooms.

Add the tomato sauce, thyme and a drizzle of olive oil. Season with salt and pepper. Leave to simmer for a few minutes.

Cook the Chifferini according to the instructions on the packet. Serve the Chifferini hot with the bacon bits and mushroom sauce.
