Burger à l'italienne au pesto

4 burger buns

4 hamburgers

4 tablespoons of Panzani Pesto

2 mozzarella balls

4 thin slices of Italian smoked ham

8 sun-dried tomatoes in oil

1 lettuce heart

1. Preheat the oven to 190 ° C.

2. Cut the buns in half. Lightly grill the undersides of them. Spread pesto on top.

3. In a hot skillet, sear the hamburgers for 1 minute on each side. In the meantime, cut the mozzarella into thin slices, and dice the sun-dried tomatoes.

4. Put 1 hamburger onto each pesto-lathered half bun, salt and pepper. Add the sun-dried tomatoes and mozzarella. Bake for 8 minutes.

5. Just before serving, place 1 slice of ham on each burger, 1 leaf of lettuce heart, then close the bun, pressing lightly, and serve immediately!

If you don't have any sun-dried tomatoes, use fresh tomatoes that are ripe and tasty.
